Combining a modern and an ancestral approach to increase the singer's freedom

The work I would like to share with the singer is based on the one hand on the practice of Qi gong, which is one of the world's oldest knowledge of the body, and on the other hand on the theory of "physiological chains" according to Leopold Busquet, which is on of the most recent research in ostheopathy.

The two approaches recognize the globality of human body and mind. I saw that the understanding of muscle chains, was a real joker to resent mor easily the practice of Qi Gong, and at the same time, the beautifull, pleasant and calming series of movements that the Qi Gong has refined throughout the years, is a fantastic way to recover harmony between antagonistic muscle chains.

Furthermore the Qi Gong lead us to a subtle perception of our stability, and our energetic circulation, that seems to me very closed to the sensitivity one develops while singing.

For the singers, as for any others athletes, the technical developpement is prerequisit to obtain the freedom of expression. And I believe that the perception of the globality that is induced by the knowing of the muscle chains, connected with a soft daily practice of Qi gong are precious allies to achieve a full artistic potential.

My own contribution is in the junction of these two approaches, and in pedagogical tools for singers, that focus on the global perception of the breathing.
